Mold remediation
Mold is a moisture problem first. We look for what is feeding it, tell you plainly how much of it there is, and remove it inside containment.
Finding mold is stressful, especially with children at home. Our job is to give you a straight answer about what you have and what it takes to remove it. We seal the work area so spores and dust stay out of the rest of the house, remove the affected material, clean what stays, and deal with the moisture that caused the growth. If testing is needed, we coordinate it with an independent lab.
How mold remediation works
Call us when
- You can see spots or staining on walls, ceilings or in a closet
- A room smells musty and you cannot find why
- There was a leak and you are worried about what is behind the wall
- A home inspection flagged mold before a sale
- Another company quoted work that seems larger than the problem
What we do
- An assessment of where the mold is and what is feeding it
- A plain written scope, sized to the problem you actually have
- Containment with plastic barriers and air filtration
- Removal of affected drywall, insulation and materials
- HEPA vacuuming and cleaning of the framing that stays
- Testing through an independent lab when the job calls for it
Reviews
What customers say about working with Yostin
Field rep came at my house, on time, very professional, reviewed all conditions for the smell that we suspected water damage and potential mold. Need to highlight he didn't try to sell, sell, sell, but he was 100% honest and straight forward telling us what we should do and if we should do. Anyone else would have probably exaggerated in order to gain more business. Highly recommended
Jay T. · Sep 2026 View on YelpI highly recommend Omri for mold remediation and mold removal. We had an emergency involving mold (Our previous mold remediation person took our money 2k & disappeared), and despite having other obligations, he understood the urgency and came quickly to help. He was knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and explained everything clearly. His work was exceptional, communication was prompt, and he left the entire area spotless after completing the job. Omri is reliable, honest, and truly went above and beyond, he saved the day!
Hofit K. · Aug 2026 View on YelpOmri was wonderful to work with! After receiving numerous quotes and assessments for a mold situation we discovered in our home, we found Yostin Water Damage & Restoration and decided to get one final assessment. We're so glad we did. From the beginning, Omri was incredibly genuine, honest, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced compared with the other companies we had spoken to. You can tell he truly cares about helping his customers and doing what is actually necessary, rather than taking advantage of a stressful situation. As new parents, our baby's health and safety are our number one priority, and we felt that some of the other companies we met with were preying on that fear and sense of urgency. Omri was the complete opposite. He made us feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout the entire process. Thank you so much, Omri, for all of your help and for taking care of our mold issue with such care, honesty, and efficiency. We're so grateful and would absolutely recommend him and his company!
Jessica M. · Aug 2026 View on YelpOmri and team were great, timely and communicative. Omri worked with us to identify our mold issue and remediation plan. He also worked with us to build a plan that worked for us to get our kitchen back in order. It has been wonderful working with Omri. Thank you!
Jessica N. · Jun 2026 View on YelpI had a shower leak from our upstairs bathroom, which caused water damage and mold in my baby's room downstairs. Omri and his team were amazing. They knew exactly what to do, kept everything clean, and made sure the mold area was properly contained. They worked efficiently, with fair pricing, and left everything in great shape. Highly recommend them!
Sara A. · Apr 2026 View on YelpI had a wonderful experience with Omri and the entire Yostin Restoration team. I had a pipe leak that caused water, mold, and termite damage to one of my walls, which was understandably very stressful at first. From the beginning, Omri was there every step of the way and he truly felt like a partner throughout the process. It was clear that he genuinely cared about getting my home and my life back to normal, which is invaluable in a situation like this. My wife and I are so grateful! On top of that, he's essentially a one-stop shop that can also help with the rebuilding process after mitigation, which made everything much easier to manage. His team did an excellent job, and the quality of the work really shows. He was also very fair and affordable, offering great value for the level of service provided. If you need restoration help, I highly recommend reaching out to Yostin ASAP! You'll be in great hands!

FAQ
Mold questions
Any mold growing indoors should be removed and its moisture source fixed. How big a job that is depends on how much there is and where. We look first and tell you plainly. We do not use fear to size a job.
We seal the work area with plastic containment and run air filtration so spores and dust stay inside it. Affected material is bagged inside the containment before it leaves the house.
When testing is useful, we coordinate it with an independent lab so the results do not come from the company doing the removal. Not every job needs a test, and we will say so when it does not.
Mold returns when the moisture does. That is why we look for the leak, humidity or drainage problem behind the growth and fix it, or tell you exactly who should.
