Removal and repair under one licensed contractor

The repair side is handled as a licensed general contractor, CSLB #1128773. Because the company that cut the wall open also rebuilds it, nothing about the removal has to be explained twice, and the moisture fix is checked before new drywall goes up.

Inside a sealed work area with filtered air, the affected drywall and insulation are cut out and bagged. Studs and other framing that stay are HEPA vacuumed and wiped down. After that, the moisture cause is fixed and the same company rebuilds the wall.
We coordinate testing with an independent lab when the job calls for it, for example when you want a written result before the walls are closed again. The lab works separately from Yostin, so the result is not ours to shape.
